Sail, Dream, Play

Welcome to the crew of endless adventures! We're passionate about splashing through waves, catching the sun's kiss on our sails, and exploring the watery wonders of the world with a cheeky grin and endless curiosity.

These beautifully hand crafted pond yachts are brought to you to let your imagination and wonder sail through the summer. Love Park is brought to life with our beautiful boats, come play and watch them chart their course!

Inspired by the Voiliers De Luxumbourg in Paris, we’re bringing this concept to Toronto!

Our Story: A Parisian Tradition, Anchored in Toronto

From the Luxembourg Gardens to Love Park

For over a century, the wooden sailboats of the Voiliers du Luxembourg have been an icon of Paris. Generations of children and adults alike have stood at the edge of the water, wooden poles in hand, guiding miniature yachts across the pond as the wind catches their sails.

We fell in love with this "slow leisure"—a rare moment of unplugged, tactile joy in a fast-paced world. We asked ourselves: Why shouldn't Toronto have a piece of this magic?

When Love Park opened with its signature heart-shaped pond, we knew we had found the perfect harbor.

The Art of the Pond Yacht

Pond sailing isn't just a hobby; it’s a living history. Our fleet consists of traditional, gaff-rigged pond yachts designed to dance with the breeze. There are no remote controls, no batteries, and no screens—just the simple physics of the wind, the water, and a little bit of navigation.

Whether you are five years old or eighty-five, renting a boat for a half-hour session offers a chance to disconnect from the digital world and reconnect with the simple beauty of the waterfront.

Brought to You by Art & Water

This project is a labor of love by Art & Water.

At Art & Water, our mission is to transform urban spaces into canvases for wonder. we believe that the most meaningful city experiences happen when we slow down. By blending heritage craftsmanship with public art and interactive play, we strive to create "blue spaces" where community, creativity, and calm intersect.

We invite you to grab a pole, set your sails, and find your own rhythm on the water.
